The manager of the Ivorian club ASEC Mimosa Julien Chevalier has confirmed that Nigeria’s Rivers United is a strong side but said they were more efficient in the game.
ASEC defeated Rivers United on Sunday in the final group game of the CAF Confederation Cup and finished on top of the group.
The French gaffer further said they were unlucky in the first leg where they lost 3-0 to the Nigeria champions.
” There is no big difference between the team we played in Nigeria and here, they are a strong team.
In the first leg were unlucky from the beginning of the game and they scored early.
Today, destiny changed, we scored very early and the game was opened for us in a better position and we were more organised and efficient, then we finished on top of the group”, he said.
